BIOGRAPHY
Olga Argo is a young Latvian lyric soprano based in London. She is a highly accomplished freelance classical singer who has completed her Master’s degree in Music Performance with Distinction at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London.
Her repertoire ranges from baroque to contemporary opera. Olga has performed at the London's notable venues such as Royal Festival Hall, The Queen's House, Guards Chapel, Kings Place and Blackheath Halls; Berkshire's Reading Town Hall; Jurmala's Dzintari Concert Hall and Riga's House of the Blackheads in Latvia. In addition, she performs for corporate and private events in the United Kingdom, Europe and Asia.
Olga had the privilege to perform with The Queen’s Guards Orchestra, Reading Symphony Orchestra and Windsor & Maidenhead Symphony orchestra and Operetta Theatre Orchestra conducted by Atvars Lakstīgala.

Over the last few years, Olga participated in a various vocal masterclasses where she sang for Elaine Kidd, James Clutton, Michael Pinkerton , Anne Williams-King, Susan Bullock and Fabbri Ubaldo.

Der Rosenkavalier - Final Trio, Act III
"The Marschallin has discovered that her young lover, Octavian, has fallen in love with Sophie. Sophie was engaged to the Marschallin’s cousin, the odious Baron Ochs, but thanks to an elaborate trick Octavian has demonstrated to Sophie’s father, Faninal, that Ochs is not a suitable husband for his daughter. Only the Marschallin now stands in the way of Octavian and Sophie’s happiness. While Octavian hesitates between the two women, the Marschallin realises that the time has come for her to give him up. She questions Sophie and gently pushes the two young people together. Overwhelmed with emotion, the Marschallin leaves and Octavian and Sophie rush into each other’s arms." (James Hurley, 2019).

Review - Svadba at the Queen's House
'Ana Sokolović’s Svadba, staged in the acoustically glorious great hall of the Queen’s House, is about a bride-to-be, Milica, and five friends enjoying a prenuptial evening of ritual, dance, song, celebration, rivalry, friendship and - most important of all – solidarity and sisterhood.
In the matinee performance I saw, Sofia Celenza was magnificent as Milica and was wonderfully supported by Olga Argo as Zora and other artists who perfectly captured the changing moods of the participants.'

Riga's Ball
'On September 7, the capital of Latvia has hosted one of the most beautiful and significant cultural events in the country – “Riga Ball 2019. Latvian Ballet – 100!”.
The event was attended by politicians, businessmen and people from the Forbes list, people of art and culture from Latvia, France, England, Switzerland, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Estonia and many other countries. This event was a real success! Nataly Tumsevica-Ergle, the Ball’s patroness said that they were pleased that guests from so many countries honored “Riga Ball” with their attention; also, it was a big honor that the Mayor of Riga Oleg Burov opened the evening.
The concert program of the celebration was impressive this year. In front of guests performed: the Operetta Theater Symphony Orchestra conducted by conductor Atvars Lakstigala, Jazz Orchestra “Mirage” conducted by Lauris Amantovs; soloist of the Latvian National Opera and Ballet Kristaps Jaunzeikars; soloists of the Operetta Theater Karlis Rutentals, Anta Jankovska and Laura Purena, famous Latvian opera singers Olga Argo (resident of the Queen’s House, London) and Vadim Vakaruk (Italy, Latvia)...'
